So, since Keely is from Hawaii, and the pair also got engaged there, the tropical, laid-back, and fun vibes that encapsulate the big island became the inspiration for their wedding day! They kept their wedding small and intimate, with just their close friends and family in attendance.
The couple shared a first look in front of a bamboo forest backdrop after getting ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Keely understandably blew Mike away during the first look, since she looked absolutely beautiful in an a-line lace and tulle wedding dress that had the prettiest long train. Mike also looked wonderful in a light gray groom suit. Keely’s gorgeous tropical bridal bouquet of pink florals (which perfectly matched the flower accessory in her hair) was the cherry on top of the outdoor bride and groom portraits.
After some super fun wedding party photos, the ceremony began. The outdoor wedding ceremony design was fairly simple, with just a few tropical touches here and there. After some super fun wedding party photos, the ceremony began. The outdoor wedding ceremony design was fairly simple, with just a few tropical touches here and there. Everyone headed to the outdoor reception area after some really sweet vows and “I dos.” I absolutely loved how this reception was designed. You have to scroll and check out the couple’s beautiful sweetheart table setup!
Keely, Mike, and I snuck away while the wedding reception continued on, so we had some extra time for more wedding portraits. We strolled through Botanica’s magnificent, plant-filled venue and got some really wonderful bride and groom photos done. The reception went well into the evening, and it was so incredibly fun to be a part of, and to capture.
Thank you, Keely and Mike, because it was such an honor to capture your wedding day! Wishing you both nothing but love and all the happiness in the world.
